Job's Tears |

|
Job's Tears are the seeds from the Coix Lacryma Jobi plant (a cousin to the corn plant). The plants are perrenial (at least they are down here in extreme southern Louisiana). The seeds are actually the female part of the flower, and are surprisingly rugged. They do not need any type of finish, and they are even tough enough to be cleaned in regular jewelry cleaner without any damage (I have already washed some in the washing machine, accidentally, and dryed them in the dryer).
The colors that you see are natural, and range from white, to grey, to darkest brown, and anywhere in between, including some with two or three colors combined. I don't have any of the Job's Tears jewelry on this page - they are all on the respective pages (earrings, bracelets, etc.) Email me if you would like to buy some of the seeds.
